We are very excited to announce that the Beyond Conference will be held in Sydney, Australia on the 12th – 14th November 2010.

Featuring Jen & Steve Bebb….well known for their amazing images and ability to teach (The Bebbinar), it is an honor and a privilege to be able to learn from two of the industry’s top wedding photographer’s.  As with much that is to do with weddings, it easily crosses over into other forms of shooting with lighting, posing, composition, etc all being critical on every shoot.   The Bebb’s will also discuss business, marketing, running a studio and how they continue to come up with unique and creative ideas for their clients.   Outline of their teaching schedule coming soon.

Tricoast Photography have built a name for themselves around their ability to not only teach but also being able to see market opportunities and create products/services to meet the market’s demands.  A team of four is coming DownUnder …which will mean smaller groups and more hands-on training than you receive at most training conferences.   Mike, Cody and partners will be teaching TTL flash (using the new Radio Poppers but you can bring PW’s).  See how the ability of the new PW’s and Radio Poppers to high-speed sync can give you a unique look in your images and more freedom to shoot how you want.  They will also cover business, marketing, etc.   Stay tuned for the outline of their teaching schedule!

Danna Bowes Well known to Beyond members, not only for her amazing images of newborns, maternity, couples, etc but also her “smarts” when it comes to marketing, upselling, branding, etc.  Danna will be showing how she prepares and photographs a newborn and possibly a maternity model…using both studio and natural light. Connecting, Lighting and then upselling the client.  Come and see an expert “baby whisperer” at work.   Included will be an outline of tips/tricks as well as a posing guide.

Each of these extremely talented Photographer’s has a unique style but the one thing they have in common is their ability to produce stunning images that “connect” with the viewer and show the connection and emotion of their subject.  The other thing we LOVE about these photographer’s is their willingness to share, to want to help photographer’s capture amazing images and run successful businesses.  The Beyond Forum has continually experienced their “open book” philosophy, and we are so excited to be able to offer you the opportunity to experience a weekend of training, sharing, experience and FUN with them.

This is your chance to learn from amazing photographer’s, over three days, at an incredible price.  Teaching includes on-location, natural light, supplemented lighting, – off-camera flash, shooting time, question/answer sessions, critique of your images, posing, creating a connection between you and your clients.  Locations for shoots will be both urban and old-world, with shoots taking place in the Rocks area of Sydney.  There will also be a night shoot on Sydney Harbour with the Bridge and Opera House as your backdrops.  Possible shoot at Luna Park, to be confirmed.  Electives will be available on Sunday morning and will include: boudoir shoot, newborn/maternity shoot, business/marketing.

The Conference fee includes: In-Depth Teaching and sharing.  Shooting and interaction in both small and large groups, helping you gain knowledge from each other as well.  Shared Accommodation with Breakfast, morning/afternoon teas & Lunches for 2 days/nights,  Dinner Saturday night.   (the only thing NOT included is transport, dinner Friday night and alcoholic beverages).  Pens, Pads, etc will also be provided.

Photograph with six amazing photographer’s in downtown urban settings, learn how to chose a location, how to see the light and how to pose, and capture stunning images. Work in small groups, as well as seeing the Teachers photograph and having them help you capture images yourself.  Models provided.

Conference runs from Friday 12th November at 8:30am until Sunday 14th November at 5pm. Arrange your flights accordingly.

Snacks, Dinner Friday night, Drinks and travel from the airport to the hotel are the participants own responsibility, however the hotel is centrally located 30 mins from Sydney Airport and a shuttle service runs to and from the Airport.  The Hotel is located right in the heart of Downtown Sydney, in one of the most popular areas for shopping and nightlife…as well as fun!   Take the walk across the Harbour Bridge itself!

Some notes:  If you register and then are unable to attend, you may ’sell’ your spot, but please notify us first and ensure you are selling your seat to someone that meets the “rules” as laid out here, we will need to pre-approve such transfer.  If you are unable to sell your spot, your deposit will NOT be refunded.  Please do not ask us to do so.

Comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for urban and desert walking

Attendees are required to have a working knowledge of their camera equipment.
